Volunteer Opportunities

Salida Concerts, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization
with a 501(c)(3) designation.  
We depend on our Concert Committee
and other community members to make
Salida-Aspen Concerts a reality.  
Without these dedicated supporters
there could be no concerts each summer!

If you are a current volunteer or
simply want to learn about the volunteer opportunities
both before and during the summer concert series,
let us know.

CONCERT COMMITTEES

Box Office:  Redeem vouchers and sell tickets at the door (at least two persons).

Greeters & Ushers:  Take tickets at both entrance doors to the John Held Auditorium.  Mingle with concertgoers and help us build the ”contributors” list.  

Refreshments:  Set up and serve light drinks during intermission.

Flowers & Decorations:  Pickup, deliver and arrange flowers and other decorations.  

After-Concert Hosts:  Pick a concert and offer your home to the performers and friends for dinner and refreshment afterwards.  

Poster Distributors:  Deliver posters, rack cards and other promotional materials throughout the community.  

Program Ad Sales:  Contact local businesses and ask them to advertise in the concert program book.

General Assignment:  Be on call to fill in where needed, run errands, proofread, open doors, or handle last minute items.
